This is Kim!  Every time I walk with Kim, I rant about how she just missed her opportunity to be rich and famous.  Kim has always been ahead of every nutritional trend and craze.  Kim knew the health benefits of Kale way before anyone would have dreamt of putting it in a morning smoothie!  She practiced a blend of Tae Kwon Do, Pilates and Strength Training exercises before boot camps and studios ever offered it.  She also knew that Coconut oil could be used in a multitude of ways that were both delicious and amazing for your hair, skin, metabolism and heart.

Kim's coconut oil popcorn is so delicious that every neighborhood boy just waits to smell the kernels popping......and mom's hope there is still some left at pick up time!

Here are Kim's favorite things to do with coconut oil:

- Great for every day cooking because of its high heat threshold.

-Popcorn. The popcorn is cooked in Coconut oil and sea salt. 4 Tablespoons of coconut oil to 3/4 cup of kernels.

- Can be used as a lip balm- mix 4 parts coconut oil, 4 parts olive oil and 1 part raw honey.

-Great to add to smoothies to improve the flavor and increase health benefits.

Raspberry Lime Tea Smoothie Recipe:  This is a great cleansing smoothie made with coconut oil, chia, and green tea for an extra antioxidant boost for that late afternoon lull.

INGREDIENTS 1 1/2 cups Green Tea (cold and brewed; if brewing fresh, steep 2 tea bags in 3/4 cup water, then add ice) 1/2 cup Raspberry or strawberries(fresh or frozen) Stevia or 2 T coc sugar (depending on your preference and ripeness of berries) 3 tbsp Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil 3 tbsp Organic Chia Seeds(optional) 1/2 Lime (juiced) 2-3 Ice Cubes (optional) INSTRUCTIONS Add all ingredients into a blender in the order listed. Blend until no large chunks remain.
