Going Gray the Gorgeous Way.
This is Annie! She is our kind of beauty!
After turning 50 and tired of warding off those pesky gray hairs, Annie decided to embrace her gray and find a way to enjoy her new look. She said to me,” I just want to feel like myself.” It felt vulnerable to let her hair go gray and she told me, "I want my makeup to be as flattering as it can be in this new phase." Annie needed some tips and tricks on how to update her makeup to work well with her new gray hair and most of all, feel like her authentic self.
This is how our friendship started! Annie is an interior designer (www.anniekipstyle.com) who specializes in helping people create spaces that make them happy during the big transitions in their lives – like easing into empty-nesting, creating a new home after a divorce, or just making updates that feel “right” for the current chapter of their lives.
We realized that we both really enjoy helping people feel good during the different transitions in life. Whether it’s a new job, a new relationship status, or a simple desire get their mojo back, we know a few strategic changes or purchases – like simply rearranging a room or finding the perfect shiny new lip gloss! - can have a huge impact in our client’s lives. Annie’s tagline, “Let’s make your home look the way you want to feel,” says it all!
One of my favorite things about Annie is her belief that the fastest ways to feel good is to be kind to other people - because we, at Your Basic Beauty, believe that beauty comes from the inside out!
Annie created the “100 Acts Of Kindness Challenge” to give people easy and fun ways to be kind each day. Go to www.100ActsOfKindnessChallenge.com to find out more and sign up to get new ideas for ways to be kind in small and big ways every single day.
