Going Gray the Gorgeous Way.

This is Annie! She is our kind of beauty!

After turning 50 and tired of warding off those pesky gray hairs, Annie decided to embrace her gray and find a way to enjoy her new look.  She said to me,” I just want to feel like myself.” It felt vulnerable to let her hair go gray and she told me, "I want my makeup to be as flattering as it can be in this new phase." Annie needed some tips and tricks on how to update her makeup to work well with her new gray hair and most of all, feel like her authentic self.

This is how our friendship started! Annie is an interior designer (www.anniekipstyle.com) who specializes in helping people create spaces that make them happy during the big transitions in their lives – like easing into empty-nesting, creating a new home after a divorce, or just making updates that feel “right” for the current chapter of their lives.

To create Annie’s natural yet elegant look we used:

BB Cream: Garnier Skin Active Anti Aging 5 in 1 Miracle Skin Perfector light/medium.

Blush: ULTA brand  Lip + Cheek Color Stick in Mauves.  Just place on the apples of the cheeks and blend for a natural flush.

Eyebrow Pencil: L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer Ultra-fine tip shaping pencil, in brunette.

Eyeliner:  L’Oreal Infallible Matte-Matic mechanical eyeliner, in Navy matte.  

Mascara: Maybelline Lash Discovery in Very Black.  This mascara has my all time favorite wand.  You can get every single lash.

Eye Pencil: NYX Jumbo Eyey Pencil  in yogurt.  Place across the entire lid for a natural hue.

Concealer:  Sephora Collection Smoothing and Brightening Concealer in Clair Light.  

Lips: Clinique Chubby stick in Whole Lotta Honey.  Perfect professional and natural pout.
