My mom introduced me to Carol’s Daughter a few weeks ago. To be honest, I never heard of the brand, but my mom insisted that I try it out.
The company was started in Brooklyn by a woman named Lisa. Her mother, Carol, encouraged her to start the company. When naming the company, Lisa realized that the most special thing about her was that she was Carol’s daughter. I love this mother-daughter story! It reminds me of how special it is that I get the opportunity to be encouraged and taught by my mom while working together.
The brand slowly became such a strong success, it is now available in Target. Thousands of women with different hair types are using her products! I am fully on Carol’s Daughter bandwagon now. After just a couple of days, I am amazed at the results.
Her website makes it incredibly easy to pick which products are right for you. I use the wavy hair shampoo and conditioner, but there are an array of products for every hair type.
Styling Tools
When you go to school in TEXAS you use a lot of styling products! The wear and tear on my hair is reduced by using the Dyson Dryer and the Carol’s Daughter shampoo and conditioner.
The Dyson is very expensive but honestly if you blow dry your hair every day it is worth every penny. It is so efficient and easy to use that you will no longer want to spend the money to get a blow out for an event.
